Youth Group Leader: Traci Baize
Hello all, I am Traci Baize, the Youth Coordinator at Norwood Christian Church. I am a wife and a momma, and blessed to be both. I have a fondness for cooking, singing, theater, fashion, and entertaining. I have a passion for our youth, and inspiring them to seek God, and his will. I provide them a comfortable, inclusive, and welcoming place to explore all that God wants for each of their lives…AND FOOD! I strive to encourage our youth to live boldly and not hide the faith they have, while growing the seeds that will hopefully bloom into a life long love of God, and service to others. We have a lot of fun, and try to tackle tough issues that are facing our youth today. Encouraging quality time together forms relationships and friendships that power our youth when they are in school, in sports, and in life.
I pray to live up to the verse in 1Timothy 4:12-
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”
Upcoming Youth Group Events:
March 15 Youth Bowling Day-Meet at the church at 10 am. We will return to the church by 4:30pm. I do need an RSVP by Tuesday March 10th to be prepared. 970-708-0441. We will provide lunch and a snack as well as the bowling entrance fee. Kids can bring extra money if they want extra food/drinks/candy ect… We will have a devotional time and a lot of fun!
REMEMBER!!! Youth- you are required to make it to at least two Sunday morning regular youth services each month in order to go bowling! Let me know if there are circumstances that we need to take into account. We value time together!
I expect all youth to be on their absolute best behavior on outings. This is a privilege and we want to keep it!
